With the upcoming Select Team Tryouts in preparation, we would like to take the opportunity to invite you to submit the names of players (U.S. citizen ONLY) you feel are in the Elite Player category. You can fax the names, birth dates, addresses, whom they play for, positions, and telephone numbers to your StateVice President. Please make sure your list is in order of Best Player first, second best next, third best next, and so on. If the player is selected, an invitation will be sent directly to that player. Be sure and mark, “Select Team Tryouts” on your cover letter.
This information must be in by February 22, 2008

Eighty (80) players selected from the 1997-1996 birth year (11/12 yr. olds) tryout will participate in a week long development camp at Kent State University June 15 – 19, 2008.
An 11/12 year old Goalie ONLY Tryout/Camp will be held at Kent State University June 7 - 11, 2008. Eight (8) goalies will be selected to attend the week -long 11/12 development camp at Kent State June 15 – 19, 2008.
The players selected from the 1995 birth year (13 yr. olds) tryouts will participate in a week long development camp at Penn State University June 15 - 20, 2008. Thirty (30) players and four (4) goaltenders will be chosen to participate in a festival with other district teams at Kent State Univ. July 30 – Aug. 3, 2008.
The top sixty (60)+ players selected from the 1994 birth year (14 yr. olds) will participate in a development camp at Toledo, OH in June 22 - 26 2008. From this camp the top eighteen (18) 1994 birth year players (sixteen (16) players and two (2) goaltenders) will be selected to pool with other players in a Festival of games in Rochester, NY July 12 - 18, 2008. The next top ranked players will go to a Festival with other district teams at Kent State Univ. July 24 – 27, 2008.
At the 1993 birth year (15 yr. old) tryouts the top sixty (60) players will be chosen to participate in the development camp at Kent State University June 11 – 15, 2008. At this camp the top eighteen (18) players (sixteen (16) players and two (2) goaltenders) will be selected to go on to participate in a pool of players at the Select 15 Festival of games in St. Cloud, MN August 2 - 8, 2008. The next eighteen players will attend a Festival with other districts at Kent State July 24 – 27, 2007.
At the 1992 birth year (16 yr. old) and 1991 birth year (17 yr. old) tryouts the top seventeen (17) players and three (3) goaltenders from the 1992 birth year and the top fifteen (15) 1991 birth year players and the two (2) goaltenders will be chosen. The Select 16 Festival will be June 21 – 27, 2008 in Rochester, NY and the Select 17 Festival will be July 7 - 14, 2008 in St. Cloud, MN.. There will be a Festival with other districts held in Massachusetts for the next ranked 1992 birth year players. |
