2006-07 Mid-Am Coaching RequirementsThe following is a breakdown of coaching requirements effective June 10, 2000 for head and assistant coaches, as indicated on the team registration form, for the Mid-American District. These requirements will be in effect for the 2006-2007 season. All coaches must fulfill the requirements by December 31, 2006. Please note the following in the table below the numbering system for the clinics are as follows: *** A coach can only take 2 clinics in the same season. If a new coach takes Level I and Level II in his first year of coaching, he or she is all set for the remainder of that season regardless of what level he or she needs to be at. Verification that a coach has attended 2 clinics can be obtained by looking at the back of the blue coaches card where there will be two stickers with the appropriate date. Level1 (formerly called Initiation) Level 2 (formerly called Associate) Level 3 (formerly called Intermediate) Level 4 (formerly called Advanced) Level 5 (formerly called Masters)
The above table lists all the clinics that each coach must attend to be in compliance with the Mid-Am District's Coaching requirements. For purposes of requirements there is no difference made between assistant and head coaches unless at the High School or Tier I level. *** A coach can only take 2 clinics in the same season.
